Our website is hosted by netcup GmbH (Daimlerstraße 9a, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany). The personal data collected on this website is stored on netcup's servers in Germany.
The hoster automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to netcup:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- Hostname of the accessing computer (anonymized IP address)
- Time of the server request
This processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR (our legitimate interest in the secure, stable, and error-free operation of our website). We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA / Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag) with netcup GmbH in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
4. Web Analysis with Umami Analytics
We use the privacy-friendly web analysis service Umami Analytics (provided by Umami Software, Inc., USA, hosted on EU-based servers for EU visitors).
Umami is configured to run completely without cookies. No tracking scripts or unique cookies are stored on your device, and no cross-site tracking is performed.
The following data is anonymized immediately upon collection and stored for statistical analysis:
- Anonymized IP address (used only to determine the general country of origin)
- Pages visited and click paths

Since no cookies are used and no personal data is stored, this setup is fully compliant with the GDPR and national laws (such as the German TDDDG / TTDSG) without requiring a cookie consent banner. The processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in optimizing our website's content and performance. We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Umami Software, Inc. in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
